The Ceará Recycling Industry Union (Sindiverde), affiliated with Fiec, promoted the ninth and most complete edition of Expo Recicla, from June 13th to 15th, at the Ceará Event Center. Expo Recicla is an event that moves several segments of the economy, being the only one in the North and Northeast region, bringing together companies from all the productive chain of recycling, plastic, iron, electronics, wood, plaster, tire, renewable energy, water, rubber, among others. others.
During the three days of the event it was possible to follow lectures with high level experts, exchange of experiences and exhibitions at the booths. The main theme of this edition was reverse logistics and sustainability. Expo Recicla contributes to expand the industrial potential and competitiveness of companies related to the recycling industry.
The recycling industry has been developing in Brazil since the early nineties, which results in high recycling rates and cutting edge technology in the reuse of recyclable inputs. Requested as a strategy for waste management at its final destination, recycling has the particularity of being a very profitable economic activity in the world.
Sygecom Informática was present at the event as an exhibitor. In our booth it was possible to know a little more about our software, tips and news. It is an honor to be able to contribute to this great event for another edition. Throughout the fair, we also talked with some exhibitors present on site to understand a little of the follow-up and proposals of each one of them.
The event's program also included a lecture by Wanderley Baptista, environmental policy and industry expert from the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), and presentation of environmental performance cases. On the second day there were discussions about the State Policy of Solid Waste of the State of Ceará, Circular Economy Program in Industrial Districts of Minas Gerais, evolution of the implementation of Reverse Logistics in Brazil, cases of integrated waste management of Ultralimpo and Coca-Cola and environmental epistemology in Brazil and worldwide.
During the last day of the event, the seminar continued to address solid waste recycling in Brazil and the implementation of the National Solid Waste Policy in the State of São Paulo: regional arrangements. Expo recicla was closed with the awarding of the journalism prize.
