There is a public consultation: https://www12.senado.leg.br/ecidadania/visualizacaomateria?id=104116 in force. In it all interested in promoting the Constitutional Amendment that provides tax immunity to inputs from recycling or reuse, must vote by clicking YES.
One of the justifications for the approval of the PROPOSAL the Constitutional Amendment, referring to art. 150, item VI, which refers to tax immunity was: "In Brazil, for about two decades, attempts have been made to reverse or at least mitigate this situation by promoting recycling. Experience has shown that progress has been very slow. or almost nonexistent when it relied solely on altruistic appeal. However, quite quick and encouraging when the appeal was economical, which is why a market was united by capturing, marketing and industrializing recyclable materials. "
The justification also covers factors such as recycling and reuse, unbridled consumption, depletion of raw materials and especially the differential that recycling promotes and helps the environment today.
It is of the utmost importance that ALL stakeholders vote for this amendment, business owners, employees trained by these companies, service providers and anyone with environmental awareness, as the role of RECYCLING is the most effective and fundamental for the environment.
